SSteezleFree health care? Ask Canadians how that's working out for them...Free healthcare sounds great, but Canada’s system has some serious downsides. Wait times can be crazy long—people sometimes wait months for surgeries or treatments that aren’t emergencies. Plus, getting in to see a specialist can be a pain, and in some places, you have to travel hours just to see a doctor. Why do you think America has the best doctors in the world?
Thanks for asking. I have found the Canadian healthcare system to be pretty incredible. It’s not perfect, but better than the experience I had with the US system.
Its' funny because Clinton was the first president to actually produce , squeeze and exhibit a natural budget with a surplus.... Since Harry Truman.

The post I responded to wasn’t about closures and what was considered essential or not, he spoke about vaccine mandates. Which is what I responded to.

So he thought that the Biden Administration was being hypocritical by being pro-choice for abortions but not pro-choice for vaccines…despite the fact that a person having an abortion has no impact on the members of society that surround that person in the general public whereas pandemics do by their very definition. Last I checked abortions aren’t contagious and they don’t kill the immunocompromised or old people by entering public places after having one. But I digress…setting the clear differences aside for a moment…the so called hypocrisy of Biden being “my body my choice,” for abortions and not for vaccines was so beyond the pale that he became a conservative in order to mirror this hypocrisy by being against choice for abortions and pro-choice for vaccines. US healthcare is about 5 percent better than Canada except it costs 500x as much money. Waiting months for specialists and non emergency surgery appointments only to pay thousands out of pocket because you have no choice in who insures you is normal.

We have no idea what sort of background checks he’s proposing. Also, he can’t implement something like this via executive order. The law would have to be changed so it would have to pass congress.
I mean, if you want to throw out “here are a list of countries that do the same thing,” you should add us to the list because we have the EB-5 program that for 800k-1m and with 10 new or saved jobs combined with background checks you can get a citizenship also.
To be honest I think Trump just didn’t know we had the EB-5 program. You ever have an idea for an invention and then you google it and find out it already exists? My guess is that’s Trump with the Gold Card and he didn’t do the googling until after his silly thoughtless announcement.
If by chance that isn’t correct, and he is knowledgeable about our visa programs (I mean come on), and so we give him that credit as others in the media are doing then yes, the question does come up of “if you think this is a new idea then it must be significantly different than the EB-5 program”…and where is the room to make it different? Expanding those who are eligible. Hence why people are concerned about it.
If he’s not going to expand those eligible, then all it would be is raising the thresholds of the EV-5 program on the amount of money and the number of jobs.
Again, since he’s painting it as some new novel idea people are giving him the benefit of the doubt and assuming it genuinely is different. Since he’s hinted at being available to Russian Oligarchs it makes sense people would have concerns that the primary difference is who is eligible.

I've broken my leg before and had no issue getting xrays and a cast. Sure it wasn't all covered but most of it was. I didn't have to wait weeks for it either. I was able to get in and done in a day.
I avoided the hospital because i didn't think my leg was even broken... so i didn't have to deal with all that.
I know our health system has its flaws but it's not like Americans are going to Canada or India to become doctors.... I don't get it.

Also from somebody that travels and lives in other countries and isn't rich. Other countries even "3rd world" countries kind off put us to shame. I spent 2 weeks in a hospital in Vietnam. I've visited hospitals and clinics in many countries over the years.
Out healthcare system is ass. People always talk about other people coming here. Yes that happens. Mostly rich people seeking specialists you'll never see. But i don't personally know any of them. I've had 2 close friends go to Mexico for dental work and 1 for a shoulder surgery. These are just very close friends. Not adding freind of a friend or "i heard about somebody"
Outside of that, my friends in many of these communist liberal hell hole counties love their healthcare and laugh at us.
Also, if you want to talk "waste fraud and abuse". The people that hate illegals and wellfare queens.
The major insurance companies have been proven to not pursue fraud cases and instead extent that bill to customers. It's more effort to pursure those cases and easier to bill the rest.

I literally had a friend go to mexico for shoulder surgery. I've had many friends end up with crazy bills even with "good health insurance". Our system is beyond broken. It's wild that its a talking point for people who claim to be for the working man. I have health insurance btw in communist California. It's great. I'll still fight for everyone else in this country to be covered.
