TOAST.Adult population of US is ~250million adults, ~77 million votes for trump. So a majority of Americans did not vote for trump, about 1/3 did. Almost half of voter voted for trump, but still not quite the majority as there were ~78 million total for the other candidates.

It's madness, the same thing is happening in Chicago, Massachusetts, and California. Where I live they're increasing state taxes to fund migrant hotels and just passed another $500 million taxpayer funded to keep housing illegals. Meanwhile, all the hotels have insane crime, drug busts, and our mayor is releasing illegals with criminal records of rape and murder back into the streets rather than releasing them to ICE. It's absolute madness. Anyone who lives in a woke state knows that the policies are absolute trash and unfair to Americans. The same thing is happening in Europe, it's not just the USA. The fact that an argument is common has nothing to do with its validity, and pointing out that you’ve heard it before isn’t a legitimate counterargument. We’re talking about politics; this isn’t a talent show.
I’m not necessarily saying that forensic accountants would "magically" find fraud, but you should agree that they would do a better job than some kid.
The transparency of government agencies is irrelevant to whether or not DOGE’s approach is an effective solution to find fraud (they’ve yet to find any) and reduce government spending (basic math tells us it’s not). I agree that government agencies lack transparency, but I have no reason to believe Trump, Elon, or DOGE will be any different.
The idea that if something "ruffles feathers," it is probably a good thing is honestly just stupid. Here is a list of things that would ruffle feathers and are therefore also good things:
Completely defunding the American military
Strict government control over the internet
Outlawing all private property
Mandatory government surveillance
Banning citizens from leaving the country
At no point did I say we shouldn’t change anything and just "trust the system," just that this approach is not a good one.
