Very little of that "military" aid is the stuff they actually need. They've definitely gotten better since 2022, but they're still mostly sending logistics equipment and defensive weapons. They're lacking in Long range offensive weapons because they're afraid that'll piss off Russia.
Basically, Germany should be able to handle Russia nearly all on its own. They have 2x the GDP (but only half the people) and they have much stronger high tech industries. We rebiilt them after WW2 and made them the rich country that they are today, now it's their turn to step up and do something good with their military for once.

Shes here on F1 student visa. I don't think theres deportation risk or anything its just changing it over takes years. It would be quicker if we married as randos and she wasn't here like foreign fiance visas take half the time.
The work permit is quickish 2-3 months. (She could lose her current job for a month or so which looks pretty likely.) Shes basically a slave to the US for a travel permit 9-10 months and can't leave under any circumstances or else everything resets (and the $2k fees need to be paid again.) Actual green card is a few years. This shit used to take a couple of months if you qualified and being married to a US citizen is the definition of being qualified.
I don't think Trump will make anything better he fucking sucks but the Brandon situation where its impossible to come legally and you need to wait years even when you qualify due to processing times was pretty fucked up to begin with not to mention the fuel on the fire of immigrants eating cats and living in luxury hotels getting fee money etc etc.
