What are your favourite feelings on Skis?

Could by anything, simple or not.

Its hard to deny that silky weightless feeling of deep deep snow blowing over your shoulders. But I get so much satisfaction from that feeling mid trick or even on takeoff where you know have set it just perfect and are going to stomp. Your vision comes around and you know that your on the money to land bolts!

What hits you in the feels and gets you hooked like a junkie coming back for more?

reaching the apex of a big hit out of the pipe. grab is locked, landing is spotted and then you're just floating. briefly, you feel completely weightless, then the rush of acceleration back down into the pipe takes over and you're chasing the next apex

once i was doing a chill 3 blunt grab as the sun was going down and everything was getting dark. as i went off the jump and looked back to cap, the tail lit up from a stray beam of light like a videogame.

to this day i still think about capping the shit out of it.

Mine is when you ski flexes. whether you hit a deep side hit, hit a deep olie, or throw a nose butter 360 off a knuckle. it feels and looks soo good.

Picture this:
You and the boys just spent hours building a sick lip in the trees beside one of the runs. you volunteer to try it first and cant wait to show the boys that your trampoline sessions have payed off. you're bombing towards the takeoff. about to send the the steeziest, sexiest most boner inducing layed out back flip known to man. you launch off the lip, you watch almost peacefully as the trees glide out of sight and the clouds slowly move from the top to the bottom of you vision. you feel the instant you're perfect upside down and you can actually see the lip from witch you just took flight. Finally your landing comes into sight, you can see the boys cheering, one of them is capturing the clip from the perfect angle. A smile spreads across your face and then your rotation comes to a jolting stop. in the half moment you have to panic you see that your tips have dug into the landing and you realize you should have tucked a tiny bit sooner. Then you face slams into the snow which was not as fluffy as you thought it would be. you tumble down the landing and although you cant see what's happening you know that you skis, poles, goggles and one of your mittens have come flying off; a proper yard sale. finely your body slams into a tree and you come to a stop, crumpled in the snow. you open your eyes and everything is blurry and your ears are ringing, you don't even know what but you know something is seriously wrong. you blackout just in time to miss seeing your brand new skis slide down the slope, never to be seen again. eventfully you wake up in a hospital and everything hurts the doctor is trying to talk to you but you cant even form a clear thought. you watch the doctor insert an IV into your forearm and within a few seconds the pain subsides, you look over and read the word "morphine" on the IV bag as a feeling of bliss washes over you.

the only feeling better then how that backflip would have felt is that of narcotics flowing through you veins.

Popping off a roller with a big nollie or ollie and just floating downn is the best feeling imo. Also skiing a sketchy line or part of the trail and looking back and pretending like I just hit a massive Alaska spine.

This is probably one of my favorite things to witness, regardless of the trick. Skiing or Riding. Shoutout Sunny Q at bush. Miss living in VT.

Being in a 'flow' state where your brain bypasses consciousness and is just communicating with your body to make you go is the best thing for sure.
Landing a new trick always gets me high. Like I get so ecstatic about landing something new that I have this weird habit of just falling in the middle of riding away.
Skiing powder is always the best too.

Lapping the same line for like 3 hours until you can go 100mph and boost every hit into space. Bonus points if there’s no lift line and you’re the only person in that zone.

Second best feeling: when you make it past the crux of a really sketchy line. Feels good because you finished the hard part and now you feel like Superman ripping back to the lift/skintrack.

Ripping the frontside back down to the truck to eat lunch on pow day.

You just skiied out the best first tracks of the season with the crew, everyone’s giddy, fully warmed up and not the least bit done, you’re absolutely trucking through tossed up crud like it’s not even there. Stopping at any point is a foreign concept, your boy is about to pull some crazy hand drag dark magic shit off the nearest unsuspecting cat track lip, and you are probably getting yelled at by every senior citizen in a 30 mile radius if only you were going slow enough to hear sounds
