How to improve skiing during off season?

Okay so I live a few hours from not even a decent ski mountain and other than that… total nothing. There’s one maybe two decent hills that I could make jumps on but I don’t even know if it would be worth it because I don’t even know if you could get enough speed off of them to actually pull something off. I was thinking about making a drop in ramp but I don’t really have a crazy amount of room for it, definitely still a possibility but less likely. Just looking for other ways to not fall behind. Thanks!

i watch a lot of skiing. idk just invisioning myself doing tricks helps me for when I'm actually on snow. it almost feels like I've done it before. trampolines work too.

Did this last year, videos got a bit too inspirational and broke my arm at the local library trying to hit the hand rail that leads down to the road…

Work to make money to ski as much as possible in winter

Gym and stretch

bike or blade or skate or something using muscles you wouldn’t use skiing is always good

as an entirely self taught skier and one who never jumps, ive wanted to take a tramp class for awhile now. always end up too busy in the summer but would definitely be helpful

For tricks- tramps/ramps. I've never been a big trick person but just doing some backies on a single tramp session in the fall made me super down to throw a backie first pow day we had.

For overall fitness gym/running/biking

Being muscular helps you take impact better, build muscle, and then make sure to run too. Running is the best way to get cardio up which will help you ski longer and harder and it strengthens your shins/ankles in the process

Also roller blades

Blast your legs on a bike, hit up some PVC rails. No real way to get better at skiing than to go ski,
