Replying to Big Snow, "Snow Pass"
Hi NS,
I'm back riding after finally recovering from my second shoulder surgery surgery! I bought the holiday deal of $100 for 6, 2 hour passes. However, it was more like 6 free days of riding, as I was only scanned once and skiied for 8 hours each day!
This pass has ranout! I ski at least 2 times a week (time permitting) as I'm 1 hour away! However, ill be going to live in Colorado in late late January for 4 months! However, this means that if I want to ski at heavy snow in the next 2/3 months, the only cost-effective scenario is purchasing the snow pass again like I did pre-surgery (to clarify: I am talking about the "snow pass," NOT THE 2, 6-hour deal). I would have purchased it already, but my colorado travels throw a wrench in this plan.
If I purchase the pass and pay for the next 2/3 months and then cancel, I have paid for a $200 initiation fee which I will have to re-purchase once I'm back in NY. Unless perhaps the initiation fee does not have to be rebought if you renew your subscription later on (ex: when I return from CO).
Any advice, for folks who have had experience with the pass? all is welcome!
truly,
yours
