Also despite how whacky the landing was he doesn't actually use his hand, it hits the pipe wall before he lands because he popped so far back into the pipe (way easier to see in 0.25x speed). Definitely ugly, but count it

theabortionatorAyumu Hirano has been doing them since 2021. Trying to see when he first landed them but he got one at the dew tour that December in a comp. Not sure when he first started landing them. Also Shawn White was getting kinda close in the private pipe at northstar a decade ago.
I was working at hood that summer, didn't see Hess get that final one live but sick af. Just saying that boarders have been doing trips for a while. This isn't a first triple.
