Idk the stuff Prada makes has been pretty cringe redbull type videos. Mostly visual instead of actually impressive skills. Prada just seems to be slapping their name on anything now for attention

In my opinion yes, it would still be quite different. Don't get me wrong I'm all for riders getting their bag from non-endemic brands, but Moncler or Prada making a ski edit would be completely different from Supreme making skate videos.

Supreme makes videos to hold on to the core of their brand, and support what they've always done. The other companies moving into skiing is trying to capture a new market, and act like they're a part of something they've never been

Not really. Moncler comes from skiing and mountaineering expeditions. Moncler has been on top of k2. They used to supply french downhill skiing team. So Moncler is not trying to be something they have never been. It's cool they chose Ahole. That handsome gentleman fits right in there.
I wouldn't buy one of those Moncler trashbag jackets that all of the cool kids have.

i don't have an issue with the riders who accept these sponsorships but i love how prada and other insanely priced brands always have the same fit as a setup i could buy at walmart. like the least they could do is actually make the shit nice but i guess that's too much to ask

To be fair the company predates freeskiing by at least a decade, there was no freeskiing to cater their brand towards lol. Plus they've been in skiing since the 60s, I dont think it's as haram as say Gucci sponsoring Colby stevenson, it at least makes sense, they are primarily a jacket company to this day anyways

moncler might have a history in skiing, but they aren’t a “freeski” brand lol. I’m all about skiers getting a bag from them but they are not comparable to preme at all, moncler dgaf the culture
