KungKalmarI don't think they can afford the best freeride skier of the generation without giving him promodel. They should be able to afford to develop new ski during next season.

Depends where you draw the line of the generation. For me the new generation are the youngsters who brought double backflips and made cork 7 every event type of thing few years ago. From these people Max Palm is special. He has the perfect mix of tech, send, style and smoothness that the others have not been able to reach. Goguen is close, he will probably have more wins than Max after next season but I don't think he will overtake Max in other categories. So to me he is the best of the new generation of freeride skiers.

Max Palm can you marry me pls??

I really cant understand all this hate on the j skis. The gay skis arent for you! The banana skis arent for you!!! people went from hating the boring ass graphics across the industry to hating J wayyyy too quick. He's selling skis to the masses not you, my mom doesnt want a ski with skulls and shit on it. If you want them to change and be more "core" then stop pushing them away and hating. The more NS says they hate J the more J moves to the broader ski market and away from us. You want cool graphics and pro models then stop making fun of pros like vinny cash and sam zahner for signing with them, and instead push for cooler stuff. J listens to their customers more than most brands, and thats why stuff like the gay ski comes to exist, gay skiers wanted it and asked for it. You want a cool ski? Buy cool skis!

I hate the dumbass naruto and banana skis just as much as the rest, so when I buy a J I don't buy those. Buy cool graphics and they make more. A company having a couple dumb graphics is a bad reason to disregard some of the most durable and fun to ride skis on the market. no one is shitting on Salomon for having some of the most atrocious graphics and skis in the industry, they just rave about the depart. Stick to what you want and back off, not everything is for you.

J puts more money into core ski media than many other companies, just say thats cool and be done with it.

Not really sure if I should speak on this but this is borderline slander so I'll just give a little context:

I think it has more to do with the state of the company because I know for a fact they were paying people in the past, this season specifically a lot of riders either got dropped or left because J couldn't pay them this year. Idk anything on the runge's side so I'm not talking about them, moreso other people. Definitely checks out if you've ever tracked their inventory in early November, they still have a ton of last years skis on the site, which I've never seen before.

I agree that breaking promises is shitty but with how many people they've lost I wouldn't be surprised if they genuinely can't pencil an extra couple bands for them. They definitely used to be generous with sending skis to people too, that I can personally attest to lol

As a long term Jskis hater I'm pretty stoked to hear this. Been praying on their downfall for awhile so it's nice to see it all coming to fruition.

I‘ve seen Finn Bilous sportin‘ a Red Bull Helmet on Stubai on Friday. Hopefully he gets some skrillaaaa and we can see him in a few of those Red Bull events like Unrailistic or Playstreets.

Tanner really out shredding Ruka Early season in these Target bad boys. Genuinely curious what this is about as Armada's got a full run of pants. Maybe something happened with logistics and he needed a pair on the fly?

He was also rocking a Harlaut jacket in his most recent clip. Granted Henrik is a big part of Armada but rocks his own gear. Armada seems to give their pros quite a bit of leeway with outerwear vs skis.

Yup! I like seeing Armada skiers rocking other outerwear brands. Helps spread the budget for Armada to more riders, and doesn't homogenize riders all rocking the same kits. Just find it odd when marquee riders like Tanner aren't rocking their stuff and are throwing shade posts on social media

i’m also realizing the A Halls are $50 more than the “normal” studio 1s, where the Matej pros are same price as the “normal” prodigy…

Yeah honestly one of my top 5 favorite base designs, 750 feels steep though, unless Faction is way better than I think they are in my head (totally possible)
