what are APA's?

i've been talking to this guy that might be able to hook me up with some skis...but he was talking about how the program was a little diff this year, 'Considering we cut out all the APA's'...what does that mean?

APA's were Ambassador Program Associates. Which essentially they had little cards they could hand out with numbers on them to allow kids to get gear at a proform price. Because this wasn’t kept low key like it was suppose to and it all went public the program has been extremely modified. Here in the northwest you might be able to get the price if you know who to go to. But the shops will reap the benefits.
