Ski mounting question

I was just getting my vishnus mounted and got a call from the shop saying they couldn’t mount the ski at center because of previous holes drilled in the ski. They told me I could either go -1cm or they could flip the ski and mount it the other way, but I’m pretty sure they’re not a symmetrical ski. Any help here?

are they wets? im almost positive wets are completely symmetrical and you can mount them backwards, but not sure about keys or anything. good luck tho i guess wait and see what other people say

They’re wides, I don’t think 1cm is a HUGE difference for park performance but I figured I’d ask anyways

AFAIK wides are the same ski as wets, just wider, which means I should still be fine if I mount them backwards. someone correct me if I'm wrong

Wides can be mounted backwards. Fully symmetric ski both in rocker and tip/ tail width. Go for it.

Imagine being so far up your own ass, you believe a 1cm difference in mount point would drastically affect your shitty park skiing. LOL

many moons ago i had some fischer addict pros (fully symmetric park ski). i was goofing around and told the shop the mount one of the skis forwards and one backwards, just to play with the graphics. when i got the skis back, the bindings were offset by like 2cm and they couldn't figure out what happened during the mount process. i actually skied about on them just cause i was curious how it would feel and honestly, i couldn't really notice anything weird about the handling. never bothered with a remount and eventually sold them to one of the lifties who said he didn't care anyway

i think its a big mental thing with a lot of people, with your bodyweight feeling more centered over your ski or wtv. different for everyone I'm sure
