Vacations vs. Allplay

I’m having a debate on which ones I should get… looking for a more bendy and fun all round ski.

feel like it just comes down to preferred width imo both will be fun

I like the all play for everything, its not amazing at anything tho. I imagine the vacation is just slightly better in soft snow and worse on hard pack, and obviously heavier. Going to ride vacations for the first time this weekend I'll let you know how they feel. I also think vacations have a lot more rocker and a less side cut, so more surfy-slashy I guess? My J's have been extremely durable and flexy, but I wouldn't say light. I'd go all play unless you are a very specifically swervy rider or just want a seriously soft pow ski.

I have not ridden the new allplay design but I loved the old design. They where my fav park ski I've rode

dude I didnt think they could make my favorite ski better but the new one is WAY better. They carve and cut through slush much better and I cant really see a downside. They seem like maybe they do slightly worse in pow than the older-fatter-less cambered version but it isnt really very noticeable, a very small drawback for a huge boost in piste performance.

What type of a skier are you? Do you hit jumps? What size? Also what is your height and weight. I have spent loooooads of time on both the vacation and the allplays.

Yeah I would love to hop on a new pair. I generally like less cambered skis with longer side cuts and I think that what made the allplay really unique for its width. Honestly if I see a pair in my size for cheap ill cop

-Vacations are definitely bendy
-You better land bolts on big landings
-My daily driver out of a quiver of 10+ pairs of skis, for what that tidbit is worth. I love soft skis and these are my favs
