K2 revolve thoughts?

Get the Revolve Pro with the wrap liner. Those liners aren't great.

Dalbello moro or cabrio is a better and updated version with better plastic material and shell design. Would go with those.

yeah a even used dalbello would be a lot nicer. idk personally but ive heard k2 is lowering the quality of the base model revolve but the pro is supposed to be just as nice as the pro model full tilts

I don’t have personal experience with any k2 boots, Im just hearing from friends but that could have been the same case with dropkick quality too I’m not sure

So an interesting part with the FL3X collection is because we use the tongue (and to some extent the liner) to dictate the flex of the boot we can use the same exact plastic with the same flex modulus on all the shells. This means they will all wear exactly the same so if you buy the top end or the bottom you can know you are getting the exact same shell material. This is not the case with any other boot line. To change the flex you need to change the modulus of the plastic which means if you buy a cheaper model you are getting a softer and possibly cheaper grade of plastic.

get the pros. grab backup cables and new heel/toe inserts. If you can find a stiffer tongue grab those too. Then you should be able to run those boots for a very long time with new liners somehwere in there as well. Not saying these parts are destined to break but for the most part theyre pretty cheap and can be thrown in your bag for a quick swap should they break on the hill.

I had the green and black classics for years until i was able to get on some dalbellos for almost nothing. almost every part is interchangeable on those and if youre getting into park skiing or any sort of freeride its not a bad boot to start out on.

Whatever you do, DO NOT go to a professional bootfitter and try them on. That would be terrible.
