Looking for editing help

Hey all, I did some filming this year, I’ve already combed through the footage and cut all the dead space and got my edit down to like 12 minutes, but i have some ideas on syncing it with music but i have no idea where to start. Willing to pay for help too, cheers.

Pick a song you really like, envision some clips to it a little bit in your head, and then throw it in the timeline over your clips. It will help you decide the order to edit it as well as trimming stuff that doesn’t necessarily fit.

Definitely already have done that, it’s more of the fact that I don’t know how to use the software lol, I’ve tried moving stuff around but it doesn’t like move properly, the clips length gets all messed up

Use a YouTube mp3 tool and then in premiere or whatever you use look for spikes in the wavelengths/the bestand have landing there or cuts there
