Skiing in October

Hello! I have fall break next week and was looking into where to ski during this time of year. I live in Asia, looking for somewhere not too far. Do you guys have any recommendations?

I meant it more as i’m willing to traveling since I’m based in Singapore but I’m not tryna go all the way the US 😅

I believe Ushuaia (Cerro Castor) closed 2 weeks ago - meaning nothing in the southern hemisphere is open anymore (I think).

Austria just had a freak snowfall and they have over 10 places open right now including Sölden, Hintertux, Kaunertal. Austria is probably your best bet.

austria and switzerland have some glacier resorts going now, or the northern places in finland and sweden. singapore doesn’t really put you close to anything lol

Something like Mera Peak in Nepal or something in Tibet would probably work but I think all that is high effort and probably expensive. It's probably cheapest to fly to China, Shanghai has the worlds largest indoor ski resort.

I believe China has the biggest indoor skiing hill ever built in Shanghai. they also have the most indoor ski slopes.

Ended up going to L+Snow in Shanghai but it was kind of a disappointment. There wasn’t much information online since it’s China; so we just went and prayed there was a park, but it was just three runs. Also got yelled at for building up a small lip and using it as a kicker haha.

Enjoying the city right now instead.
