NSCrip69Ppl really out here thinking they’re winning the next Nobel Peace Prize by choosing to buy from brands that are “for skiers, by skiers” 😂
Christian_BaleThere's no shortage of people who are clearly unsatisfied (perhaps fairly, perhaps not, idk) with line skis for the past few years at least. Now we got line snowboards (and currently no snowboard team). Honest question: do you think this will make people more likely to buy lines?
SendyMcSendyfaceFr, I want to like Line, cause of their history and involvement with skiing (plus they do make some cool skis)

SendyMcSendyfaceFr, I want to like Line, cause of their history and involvement with skiing (plus they do make some cool skis), but I just can't get past the shitty quality. Had a pair of Bacons a few years ago that blew up after 15 fucking days (mostly pow days and groomers mind you), and the response from Line was "tough bud, you bought em on pro deal". Hands down the most fun pair of skis I've owned, but I can't justify spending $$$ every 2 weeks for new skis.
nCrowThe more I think about this the wacker it feels. You would never ever see a core, founding company of snowboarding start making skis. Feels like a slap in the face to the community for line to basically say yeah snowboarding is actually cooler and our skiers agree.
GrandThingsThe edit was weird to me. It's always fun watching Will, Andy, and crew but it felt kinda distasteful to not have some actual snowboarders in there too?
KungKalmarI really don't see what the problem is. You guys are overreacting. I don't think it's wack. I don't think it's disrespectful.
It doesn't seem like too serious snowboarding industry take over. Their marketing makes it seem like it mostly so their athletes can represent Line if they choose to get out with the board. To me it seems like this is like one time thing(someone can correct me on this one). And I think they are trying to send an important message with the "it doesn't matter what you are riding" unity type of saying.
And if it's serious business decision to sell snowboards? If there is no demand like most of you are saying they will stop selling them. In this case their aim would be to make money and if they can't profit they will stop.
PartyBullshiitPerfect take. It’s NS’s. 90% of the people on here’s lives are based around hating shit.
NSCrip69Facts. It’s sad and pathetic lol.

Christian_BaleYou must be joking your last thread was you shitting on on3p. Say what you will about on3p but they have enough sense not to sell snowboards
NSCrip69stating a fact about an overpriced brand is not “shitting” ON3P.
Farmville420People here care, sometimes it is raw hating, this isn't just hating for the sake of it, this is what happens when you frustrate your fan base to the point of resentment.
KungKalmarMost are hating for the sake of it in this case. Line makes shitty skis but they didn't do anything wrong with this snowboard adventure.
Farmville420That's exactly what they did wrong. @hi_vis360 explained it very well somewhere in here, but instead of fixing their shitty products, they decided to further alienate themselves from their clientele and produce something for a completely different demographic. They used resources for developing a snowboard instead of making their skis better... they're one of the most iconic names in freeskiing, skis should be their number one priority.
The reason this is an issue is because a lot of people (myself included) want to ride Line skis, I grew up loving Line, it was the coolest brand ever. I can't afford 3 pairs of skis and season, therefore I literally can't ride their skis. Every year they say they beefed up the skis and made them more durable, and every year they get more expensive and a little bit worse, that's just giving fans the middle finger and that's whack.
And you can't say they don't have an obligation to the ski scene, they were founded to push skiing, they did exactly that for a decade, fading away from this vision is fuckin lame and they should get called out for it, and if you don't care about all that it's fine, but it is objectively shitty at the end of the day.
KungKalmarI will never buy anything from line again and my childhood feelings about them have faded away.
hi_vis360If k2 can make poachers, then line can make durable skis too. They’re made in the same factory, right?
Also crazy that you are mad at us for hating and also saying this lol
KungKalmarI'm not mad. I agree with hating line but not because of snowboard or their core idea fading away. Purely because they make shit skis. I disagree but I agree with you.
KungKalmarThe amount of resources they spent for their probably out sourced board is nowhere close enough to fix their skis. Even the graphic is just some straight out of pixabay camo thing. It's weird how some "fun" side project can cause so many negative emotions.
GayWolf420Someone should fabricate a monoski out of these
maaatttDefinitely not out sourced lol, fully designed by line engineer
KungKalmarReally?? Don't tell me the graphic is also done by some artist and not from pixabay
stokedelicoh shit wait i found a better meme for this
GayWolf420It seems like washed up knuckledragger trash from every ski town to LA/Bay Area/Boulder/Denver are the only ones mad about it. And all the little Line Skis fanboys.

GayWolf420Oh noes my super grassroots ski brand
BradFiAusNzCoCaGonna let a major “hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm” on that one.
Ski designer developing a snowboard 🤔
but real talk, the industry goes through booms and busts. We’re currently entering a bust. Gotta do what you gotta do to survive.

maaattt'Hmmmmm' to the premise or my statement on who designed it? I was literally there looking at sidecut iterations as they happened lol
1spliff2guinniesHow many do you think will snap when someone tries to tail block?
TOAST.I don't think there are any brands I would consider buying both skis and snowboard from, maybe Salomon. Sticking with skis from ski brands and snowboards from snowboard brands just makes sense.
BallClapperThis is funny as fuck.
