Sketchy mounting questions

I have a pair of vacations with 3 mounts in them, the markers I had in them pissed the bed so I want to switch them out for some pivots I have and I would need to remount. Would helio coils or binding freedom screws with extra epoxy hold if my new mounting holes were touching previous mounting holes, and if so does anybody know any homies with a jig in slc who’d be willing to mount them up?
p.s. I don’t care if a ski with more than 3 mounts hurts the durability of the skis, it wouldn’t be the end of the world if these skis snapped

I would 100% avoid having a new hole right next to an old hole. If there was no other place to put the bindings then if you filled in the old holes with epoxy then drilled once it's cured it would probably work, but I think your chance of a ripout is likely still way higher. Can you just mount further forward or back?

I really don't imagine you'd get more than a few days OR a few hard stomps out of drilling into a previous hole before it gives

youre probably going to have to get creative but until you go back more than 3cm youre really not going to notice much of a difference. just make sure you have the proper clearance and the old holes are all plugged and sealed.

I believe the general rule is 8mm center to center of old holes to new holes or around 3-4mm between holes to be safe from a tear out.

If all three mounts are yours or you can figure out which bindings/ bsl they were mounted for you would be safer off reusing old holes.
Assuming your old markers are just junk and didn't rip out of your ski, you could always buy a replacement marker binding (either the same one or one that uses the same mounting pattern) and install those in the current holes.

If you really want to do a 4th mount you'll have to do it yourself or find a homie willing to do it as a shop won't touch it for liability reasons.

just unload them on marketplace for $600 like everyone else and get something else

I wouldn’t ever ski them if they were mounted further back because it would have to be -6.

The last guy mounted pivots but i know his bsl was longer, i was thinking about maybe using his toe piece mounts and just mounting the heel piece wherever i could get it.

I know a shop wouldn’t do it that why I was asking if anyone had a homie who was willing to do it under the table, I usually mount my own skis but I’m just afraid I’d be slightly off and wouldn’t be close enough for helio coils

Are you trying to stay with a certain mount? For what it is worth to you, I have tried -4 cm (from center, rec), -1 cm (from center), and know of people who ride them @center. They behave pretty similarly throughout IMO
