Replying to Help! South Emisphere Ski/Job Experience
Hi guys, I am planning to do a ski/job experience next june somewhere in the southern emisphere and I was wondering if you guys had any experience in that.
I was thinking about moving to New Zeland (or similar locations) for a few months from june to the beginning of september (according to my uni commitments and exams) and ski as much as I can. The plan is to find a job (maybe directly in the ski resort) to pay for the expanses of the whole stay while exploring the area and enjoy the stay.
I saw that Cardrona has a few seasonal job offers, but I didn't look into it any further; of course before looking for any accomodation I want to be sure of the viability of the plan and if there are actual job offers that can suit my needs.
Do you have any experiences in applying for a work visa for NZ/know what kind of visa should I apply for?
Where could I stay considering the fact that I won't have a car? Maybe a place with a little bit of life?
Would I be able to cover the expanses of the whole journey with a ski job? How expensive is life in NZ?
Do you know any alternative ski/job destination where I could go?
Are there any more things I should consider?
