Need new skis

Moved to BC from NS for school. Currently skiing K2 poachers as a 1 ski quiver. Since moving out west I'm skiing more off piste and more pow and less park. I want a new ski that will perform better in pow while still being somewhat capable on groomed runs/ hard pack. looking for a wider twin tip ski but still somewhat playful, thinking somewhere around the 100-115 range. seems like most companies have these kinds of skis in a 100-110 version and a 110-115 version so I’m also wondering how noticeable the difference between these widths would be?

right now, I’m looking at:
K2 Reckoner 102 OR 110
Icelandic Nomad 106 OR 112
Line Bacon 108
(I’ve heard bad things about Line's durability, has it gotten better?)

what else should be on my radar?

Before anyone says it: i will not be getting ON3P Jefferys because those airplane top sheets are corny. And I'm also opposed to getting Bent Chetlers because I don’t want to be mistaken for a North Van goober.

Also, I’m trying to keep it to under $650 CAD

look at the m free 108, the faction prodigy 3 for more park oriented or mana 3 for more free ride

Living on the island so mostly Mt Washington but ill probably also make it to the interior for a bit.

You'll be fine with the poachers, especially if they like rain.
If you think you need a pow ski and are only skiing resorts stay in the 100-110 range, 110 can even be overkill most of the time depending on if you catch a storm or not.

I agree with this. I ski the north shore "mountains" most of the time and think the conditions are probably similar. 100-105 with a healthy amount of rocker is ideal for a one-ski quiver. The snow is not often super fluffy or dry pow, and often there's just a bit over rain crust or funkiness.

Reckoner 102 if you don't have a history of blowing up skis, Nomad 105, Revolt 104, ARV 100 or 106 or whatever they make now. Most of those can be found at reasonable prices. What length are your poachers?

Ik you said no ON3P because I agree I’m not a fan of the Jeff top sheet myself.

but you can find deals on factory finds, and from what I remember there might be one more drop before the season.

Do reckoners have bed durability? I'm pretty hard on my gear (that's why I got poachers).

My poachers are 170cm and I'm 5'11" and 175lbs so they're a bit small (also why i want new skis)

some day ill have enough money to justify a jib ski but until then I need to prioritize and any ski is a jib ski if you put enough weight into it.

I have heard of 102s being poor, but I had a pair of 112s that were pretty nice and fun, the topsheet chipped a ton but other than that no major issues besides core shots. Yet they were my rock skis too.

it is a really fun ski and definitely fun AM, it struggled a bit in crud compared to Jefferey’s but still liked them.

I may be wrong, but I am pretty sure the construction between 102 and 112 is different. Which is why 102s have a bad rap

I skied like 30ish days at mt Washington this winter and had maybe 2 pow days that weren’t total cementameters so I definitely would not be planning on lots of the light fluffy stuff, anything wider than 100 is overkill

I also skied mt Washington, I know that there is not gonna be a tone of pow but I want longer skis ( and just want to try something new) and if I'm going to get new skis I want something that will make the occasional pow day that much better. I know that realistically it probably makes a bit more sense to just get a longer AM ski ~90-100mm but at that point id just make due with the poachers. Also who knows maybe this season it'll dump (and they'll actually open the backside)
