SendyMcSendyfaceDepends how much $$ you want to spend. You can find some old boots and cable bindings for pretty cheap, but they kinda suck. If you want a new setup, some of the new gear thats been released (scarpa's new boot, 22's new binding) looks pretty sick. If you're buying used, you'll want to make sure there's no cracks in the shell of the boot, binding cables aren't frayed, and pivot points aren't worn out. 22 Designs will refresh the bushings on their bindings if you send them in, not sure about other companies. Doesn't really matter what ski you put everything on if you're just starting. Start doing lunges at the gym now, so you won't destroy your legs on your first day on snow.
SlushSeasonTele skiing is for people that crave attention, but aren't good enough to stand out on normal bindings
BallClapperI have tried the new scarpa boots and 22 ntns. Very yes. Super durable and robust. No need to fear buttering. You will break before the bindings.

Say again?
DroppingkneesTele is steeze as fuck. As someone who rips both teles/alpines I say everyone should have a pair of teles to rip around on. While they are harder to do cool tricks on in the park when I want a day to just mess around and flow and not worry about doing any big tricks I just throw my teles on, pop in some groovy tunes, and you enter a flow state that cannot be achievable on alpines. It’s also really great for your knees too! Helps work out the stiffness that I get when I’ve been riding really hard. Pow days are also soooo much better on teles. You’re halfway closer to the ground so every turn is a face shot.

eheathFix the heel, fix the problem.
thewayshego3sI thought you typically listen to your thoughts while skiing
DroppingkneesNothing motivates me to land tricks more than the sound of my own demons.
BokChoyTele420Ever since Tele skiing I have notice the following:
1. More shartys
2. Sexual endurance has increased from 15 seconds to 69 seconds
3. I’ve got a dumptruck
4. Weed doesn’t get me high anymore
5. I can now count to 5.
a. My bombs are slow and sexy now

freestyler540Buys tele skis, proceeds to ski backseat
SendyMcSendyfaceI switched to tele to cope with the fact that I was always backseat.
Voyage86i don’t ski backseat, i land back seat every once in a while when im learning new tricks.
any way here’s your fix for being an ass hole
BallClapperComplains of shinbang, doesn't know what causes it. 🙄

Voyage86i know exactly what causes it buddy, i explain it super thoroughly in my post. This is why we wear helmets, so we can read and so we don’t go on the internet with a name like ballclapper
Raf.Diaz.Im looking to get a tele set up does anyone know what i should look for?
BallClapperJust because you wear a helmet doesn’t mean you can’t get severe brain injuries. Here you go again.
hoodratz47My biggest issue with tele is that some of the skiers that do it. manifest the absolute worst attitude i get that it's harder and it does look good when done well. But so many times I've talked to one in the chair and 90% of the time the convo ends up with them saying I need to take the training wheels off and ski for real.
Folks that tele in the park that shit blows my mind
