PoikenzLater he says that curated was garbage.
I don't know, guy seems alright. He's just one of the thousands of dudes you catch on the lift who are overly obsessed with carving. I don't think that he understood why a freestyle oriented site would promote freestyle oriented skis and purposely skip over directional skis. Maybe if he would have figured that out he wouldn't have felt the need to make a video.
tuckerhoranI went to high school with this dude, we were on the ski team together for 3 years (racing). His dad was one of our coaches, and his younger brother was a year younger than myself. Everyone in his family are VERY good skiers. They were a big race family, so give him a break with the park references lol
I guess all I mean to say is that he's a LEGIT skier, comes from a deep rooted ski family, and now has kids that he's taught to ski. When I think of the (NAME REDACTED) family, I think of core skiing.
can vouch.
JibbcoreFirst time i agree with lip on guy
partyandBShomie was dumb founded that they took all mountain skis to all of the mountain and hit the park in a newschoolers review. clearly obvious to NS and their market and should pipe the fuck down lol. he recommended an 88 width for all mountain which none of us on here would ever use. this is the equivalent of an F1 driver analyzing drift cars setups and saying how the gearing won’t be fast.
BigPurpleSkiSuitI have to give the 88 width ski a little love because there was a season 3 years ago in Utah where it didn't snow for 10 months and I skied one day with a dude on an 88 nordicas and he straightlined Great Scott at Snowbird from the top

CT_CREWSki reviews in general, are retarded.
dwt802Dude has no idea how poorly skis under 100mm perform for freeride on an average day off the groomer and it shows
coronaNah, skis under 100 mm don't perform poorly for freeride off groomers. It's the people on those skis who perform poorly because they don't know how to ski em.
For example, under 100 mm:

FruitBootProOk but by that same reasoning, skis over 100 aren't bad at carving, people just don't know how to get them to bite
coronaI guess my main point is that I disagree with 100 mm being picked as some magical cutoff between what's good for off-piste vs on. You can get some amazing off-piste skis that are under 100 mm (see the 95 mm Seth Pistols, which Seth Morrison and many others skied in every condition for many years and were fantastic in pow and big mountain if you could make them work).
partyandBSwell this is dumb as fuck lol.
so jerr bear is on the market for a new ski. skis like 5-10 days a year and doesnt know enough to just read the specs and know what to get. so with your logic he should ignore all reviews and do what? get his favorite graphic??
or for ns users maybe youve moved out west with soft snow for the first time and you have a new job and can now afford an all mountain ski for the first time. better just get 189 wets instead of watch a review video??
i hear ya that their not perfect. sometimes there appears to be sponsors and dollars paying for their skis to be featured and that sucks. i didnt get that vibe too much from the ns review but maybe. i do prefer roofbox reviews over demo day reviews myself. im never gonna rock demo bindings on my skis and theres only so much you can do in that time frame when you have so many other skis to test. but i still think its very applicable for many users in the market to buy something and should definitely continue

Christian_Baleasking any non-sponsored skier's honest opinion on their skis > any ski review.
Lowkey agree with you in the sense that if you've been on this forum for years you should probably have it figured out by now.
iDontHitRailsricketyskireviews lokey goated. He's definitely got some out of touch takes but his content is very entertaining (not in the manner he is intending)
FruitBootProI cannot take people seriously who see carving performance as the #1 fundamental merit in a ski. Carving is just a small, one-dimensional sliver of all the fun a mountain offers.

SteezyYeeterI cannot take people who underscore the importance of carving seriously. Idgaf what tricks you can do, if you can't carve, you're not skiing. Calling carving a "small, one-dimensional sliver" is insane bro 💀
partyandBSim pretty sure if you can lip blind 2 you can carve lol. its just that no one cares about carving except the person doing it. could you imagine an edit to waka flocka and its just a bunch of carves lol. if your trying to get rad and pull some bitches you’re way better off hitting cliffs, ripping trees, spinning rails, flipping jumps, etc. thats what the people want!!
SteezyYeeteryeah I mean the odds are that of course. but I'm jus tryna say - hating on carvy carve is wackington
