oldmanskiOh for sure! Lighten things up as well. Just going to need everyone's help to find my equipment after I yard sale.lol
PeppermillRenoI mean if you're lucky someone downhill might stop the skis knowingly.
Its not like skis don't get lost with brakes as is. I almost lost my Stockli pow skis and they ended up way down the trail and into the woods the brakes didn't do a fucking thing. False sense of security IMO.
GrandThingsHas anyone ever been turned away for not having baskets on their poles?
I feel like I've heard of this happening but feel like it might be more urban legend?

SofaKingSickive seen it happen. theyre within their rights to call you on it, but obviously it's not something that would always be noticed
idk why you'd want to get rid of them anyway though, they help you push.... the pole will just stick deep into the snow without them unless it's solid hardpack
eheathits because the person proposing the idea doesn't know how to ski, hes a gaper.
BIIIGZi heard that some og pro used to cut off the inner brakes so he could keep his skis even more glued i forget who it was tho

GorillaMarketGMKDefinitely have heard similar stories from people, same with breaks. I’m sure it depends on the resort and employees but I’m sure there is at least a few places that would tell you to kick rocks or get different equipment.
PeppermillRenomy Stockli pow skis
Kevinb5Eldora wouldn’t let my buddy use ski blades cause they didn’t have brakes

ThegenericskierI can for sure get down with chopping off inner brakes
bootspaceno brakes gives off a slightly stronger vibe of the guys who surf with no leash, like it might look cooler but then you slip and nail some kid with your ski/board and it’s a big problem for nothing
