"super playful but also it's stiff when you need it"
"light and forgiving but also stable at high speed"
"this ski can do everything, powder, park and groomers"
insert pro skier saying it's their favourite ski of all time
Ski marketing seems to be predicated on the idea that most people will only ride one pair of skis so brands feel like they have to market the ski as being able to do everything but the most of the time a ski that does it all just does everything shitty. Real ones know that you need stiff and playful skis or else you just aren’t getting the full experience.
Fuck ski brand marketing. Maybe I want stiff, unstable skis, you idiots.

Brands need to lean into the idea that everyone is different and even people who can only afford one ski will prefer flexy or stiff, light or heavy, rockered or cambered etc.
Some people would use 4FRNT Devastators as a one-ski-quiver and others would prefer Line Bacons, despite those skis having very different flexes, weights, and profiles.
Also, chopping the Outsiders is crazy work LMAOOOO
