In your opinion, how did the different mounting position affected carving ability, stability, butterability, switch skiing and playfulness ?
Pretty predictably to be honest. At close to recommended they feel pretty directional and I found the tail a little unstable, especially when buttering it felt too short. You can drive the tip more when carving but if you are used to center mounted skis, you probably don't ski like that anyway. I know I prefer a more centered stance.
When I bumped the mount forward I felt like the ski felt way more intuitive. -3cm was my favourite spot for basically everything except for float in pow, but I don't think the Stranger is a great pow ski anyway tbh, that square tail feels a bit like an anchor.
