Mod 1 question

Hey guys, I had a question about my mod 1..

basically I was removing stickers from my helmet and realized I was peeling of what seemed to be the Matt clear coat? Has this happened to anyone?

any tips on how to fix? I’m stuck with a Matt helmet with some big gloss patches here and there

If you have your proof of purchase you could contact Oakley directly, or take it into your local shop and they might be able to help if it's still under warranty. happened to my Smith bike helmet and they sent a new one.

Is it adhesive residue? Try cleaning with rubbing alcohol. I would be surprised if there was a coating on the helmet.

if i ran a company and someone said the paint came off of any product when they peeled stickers off, i would say thats your fault. heres a discount code on a freshy.

Hard to tell, but looks like the back of the sticker is stuck on still.

Don't put stickers on your helmet. Problem solved.

No it’s not the back of the sticker cause mine wasn’t shaped like that it was a full tilt decal

well it could be a partial part of the sticker. if you run your finger across it and its elevated and/or sticky then its for sure part of the sticker. if its indented then its the helmet.

honestly based off those pics if the helmet is still under warranty I would give it a wipe of any sticker residue grab proof of purchase and try to warranty it. obvi I wouldn't say you had a sticker on it and go from there no promises though.
