I know this is the most like lukewarm take on this platform but I still wanna rant. My first skis were Line, I’ve spend a decent amount of time on Line skis, so when the website is updated and the new 2024/2025 skis are posted and every price of every ski is increased by a decent amount $100-$150 cad is ridiculous. I think my biggest issue is the fact that the skis all say “Redesigned” which is just a blatant lie, like unless you count a new top sheet as a redesign it’s just bs. I actually enjoyed most of my Line skis, the durability was probably the worst I’ve had, but for enjoyment they were awesome. I personally think line should reduce prices even further and just say “look are skis are shit quality but they will be super fun for a season or two” and if they did that and like I said reduced the price by like $250 I think they would see much more success. Anyways that’s my rant over, thanks for reading. Lmk if I’m a tone deaf idiot or not
If you insist on paying MSRP then I can see how this is a problem for you. MSRP is what you pay if you buy your skis at the base of the lift at the beginning of the skis season. That said, US$400 for a pair of Honey Badgers is still within range of reasonable.
Just buy a previous year's pair like everyone else.

Facts. If you dig Google, you can find pairs a couple of seasons old for really cheap on smaller ski-shop websites. Good way to save bucks if you plan on destroying a couple of pairs per season.

LonelyThe new SFB graphics might have actually convinced me to buy line for the first time in 8 years
Holy shit, for real? They're awful. They used to be some of the best looking skis on the market when Eric Pollard did them. I had these 2016 models for 2 seasons and fucking loved them. Now they look like shit.

They definitely aren't anywhere near as good as Pollard stuff...and I would still kill for a pair of the white and red "raven" sfb's (2015 maybe?), but It's better than what they have been putting out and reminds me a lot of the designs of the 2012-2016 era. Was not a huge fan of the most of the post pollard bacons

They've all been gash. That 2016 pair in 104mm wide was just the ultimate all round ski tbh, with a super classy graphic. I don't understand why they've ruined them. I used to be a massive Line fanboy but I hate all the new graphics and won't be buying any more. Will probably upgrade to Candide's or maybe even Pollard's new skis.
If you’re a good park skier, you’ll go through 1-2 pairs of skis every season regardless of durability. Edges are the first thing to go and they’re all the same across manufacturers. Ppl here complaining about lines durability are the same ppl who suck dick at park skiing.

Yeah but edge cracks aren’t the only problem with line skis it’s the quick delam on the top sheet and how quick and easy top sheet chips happen.

skierman"Wahhh my skis have topsheet chips from skiing in the park!" Tell us you're a clueless fucking idiot without telling us.
lol @Non_State_Actor was right about you being a miserable piece of shit 🤣. I don’t know what I said above that could’ve offended you. I just implied that line skis often have quicker delam and chips in the top sheet with a little amount of days in the park compared to other brands.

One pair probably, but two pairs is excessive unless you're pro level in the street. And line skis are mid as fuck, lame ass brand these days
One of the only companies still making true park skis even if it’s not as profitable as all mountain/powder skis. Yea real lame. You wouldn’t know because you probably ski ON3P’s.

Dude almost everyone has a park capable ski these days. If they were a "true" park ski, then why does their warranty void the second you touch a rail? Better yet, why does it break so fast from park abuse? Icelandic covers edge cracks from rail abuse over the span of THREE YEARS!!!! and they're a much smaller brand, but their skis aren't built like crap, so you might not even use that warranty.

"I DON'T KNOW WHY THEY CALL THEM RACE TIRES CUZ THEY GET DAMAGED WHILE RACING AND THEIR STUPID WARRANTY DOESN'T COVER THE DAMAGE FROM RACING!!!!!!"
Are you retarded? How does a company’s warranty policy determine in any way whether it’s a park ski or not? Even so, any company would lose money if they warrantied park skis on rails and the other abusive things that park skiers do.

I am not, but lets see if you are! cuz I'm not totally convinced you aren't.
Imagine you're a ski tech! Someone hands you a Tom Wallisch Pro that has dozens of horizontal scratches across the base of the ski, and a few cracks on the edges.. but you notice all the damage is only underfoot... What kind of skiing do you think this person was doing?

I believe there's some good discussion on Race TIGERS over on r/skiing pal. Go check it out.
