-provide a solution (with no concrete policy even lol) to this problem
-identifying party with major populations like white men, suburban moms
-drawing on positive emotions and painting a better picture in previous term than what was reality
dems deserve to lose for running an awful campaign and being a disorganized mess. republicans get kudos on tactics even if i think its not a positive impact on how people will live their lives. it was effective and impactful on americans and won them the president, senate, and additional seats in the house. with the supreme court on their side as well, the checks and balances going to be a bit skewed. on one hand, a bit scary to think about all that power to one group but on the other hand, there is a lot more potential for them to actually put their system into place and showcase their ideology which is exciting.
