BrownSnowkeep full tension in the rope when you start, lean back point the skis up in the start until you get the feel for it, lean left and right like you are skiing, its really easy
LOOK_at_meI taught water skiing at a summer camp last year and what we told the kids to do in the water was keep their arms straight and their knees bent up to their chest into a ball. When the boat starts going let it pull you up for about 3 seconds then stand up (the kids were always impatient and most of them were young so we had them yell "I love cheeseburgers" then stand instead of counting to 3). That being said once you are up keep a slight bend in your knees and lean back. Try and keep the handle at about waist level and keep your arms straight.
