1spliff2guinniesI've come to offer up a somewhat neutral solution to his problem and it is a way that allows amateurs to post their content without getting in the way of a video from, for example, Level1. The solution is this: if you are known to be a maker posting high-quality edits and videos, your posts are on the front of the videos section. If you are an unverified poster, you get put in your own section, maybe something called 'User Videos' etc. If you video goes above the threshold for some arbitrary metric like 'Likes' on your video, you get on the front page.
This doesn't gatekeep the website from people who want to post their iPhone clips, but it also stops one person from completely hijacking the front of the video page, which to me looks quite unprofessional.
What do you guys think?
Steeze.MeisterYo thanks for all the love on the videos it means a lot to have support from the greater ski community. Lol
Im sure you are glad to see the uploads are over and you wont have to scroll past my videos anymore. What happened was i uploaded all the edits ive made since 4 years ago to ns and planned on uploading them throughout the next 6 months until decemberish. After i uploaded them i realized ns gives maximum 14 days for them to go live. Couldnt find a way around it and im not coming on here every two weeks to upload a video. So 3 videos went live everyday. Maybe i shouldve put a note on my account about the reasons but whatever.
Enjoy your summer or winter for you southern hemispherers
Youre welcome for not doing this peak season
Peace
