Im having a CT NS jib party at my house in december

Here's the deal 1 S-rail,!C-rail,2 straight rails, and 1 goal post. i might have a rainbow. it there isnt any snow i have a snowmaking machine. Ill have a quarter pipe acouple kickers and a big stp up. its a week after christmas. hours are 3-8(ive got lights) prizes from freeskier and freeze plus other companys. free stickers for all! who wants to come?

it does suck to hike it. it takes like 5 minutes to hike the lines. i might work out something with a makeshift ropetow.

i hate to sound like an ass, but i really have to say this. talking a big game on this site is one thing, and actually coming through with this plan is another thing. if you have these rails an such you speak of, kick ass, but things that are talked up too much and put together half assed are lame. talk to people who can make things happen, like the dude who runs this site, or corporate sponsors, they can get the word out, maybe have some writers on hand to cover the event, people with a lot of money are willing to show some swag at you if you get there logo in a shot that may be in a national magazine, or maybe an insurance company, becasue you'd be in a world of shit if someone gets hurt (not to sound like an old person, but it's true) i'm not really sure where i'm going with this rant, but back some of your stuff up with proof (i.e pictures of the venue showing people your serious) i guess i'm just sick of dudes on this site who are fanatic about the new progression of skiing (which is great) and have these great ideas, and talk abou them to death, but they fall through. if you make a good case and show me and others your serious, i'd probably head over (hell, i went to tenney on july 4th for god sakes due to the big hype they had) alright, i got class, whoever has gotten to this point of the message, good job, i may not know what i'm talking about, but i'm pretty sure i made a good point.

You gotta give them the benefit of the doubt, and anyway did you have fun at tenney, obviously you did, i had fun and I only hit the jump once, If this thing does suck who cares anyway, i know i don't, its free for one thing and its probably closer to your house than powder ridge or sundown and When this event will happen neither of those mountyains will be half way up to par, The people that show up at this guy's house could make something decent in an hour anyway so quit whining.

whatever, skiing is fucken skiing, competitions are fucken competitions, and seshing shit with people who love the sport as much as you do is what it is all about to me.

Yes, insurance is going to be a BIGGGG deal if someone get hurts, granted no one on here will probably sue anyone, but what about their parents? with skiing you deal with alot of rich protective parents, and it is true, if a kid does get hurt on one of your rails, you could be majorlly fucked

I really want to help start this sesh at your house, and I think we should do it right. Get some real sponsers like you said, and make it ligit...... LongBoardskater on here from what I know is a nasty fimler, and has pro equipment and may be shooting for level 1 this year, so there u go with the fim aspect

For sponsers, take a picture of all your rails, what your hill looks like, what the layout will be etc..... then they will consider I bet, the more free shit the better, the more banners and shit they give you, the more radder it will be. Who knows maybe this sesh could be up in freeze or freeskier this month

for insurance, you should really look into something if you wanna do this, cause the last thing I wanna see is a fellow avid skier get hurt and you get in trouble

All I am trying to say I guess is that Malcyk has a point, and at the same time don't not do the sesh because of what he said, just if your going to do it be careful

If we get some of the older kids from CT, who are in their 20s to do this, then companies will take us alot more serious

It can happen man, we just gotta do it right, and set it up

YES, the lineboarder is making nothing but good points, seems like a clear thinking fellow. Magazines love those stories that come outta Nowhere, CT, and if you get some sick shots/footage on sick rails with some companies banner in the background, now that's good shit. ^^ thankyou thankyou... no seriously though I think of this shit all the time... I am graduating college in like a year, and I was thinking of going into promoting skiing events around the east coast, at smaller mountains and get shit really booming around here... my dream would to go out west, live, and ski, but i may have to man commitments here to have to stay

Anyways, I really wanna start setting up some events, so if anyone is as serious as I am about it, and whats to do it right just let me know

P.S. my dad is also a ex lawyer and now a judge, so I can get alot of the legal aspects of this covered ( not trying to be a little rich fuck or anything) But if your going to do something, do it right? correct?

I dunno, what does everyone else think?
