skiing9876jou,
Anyone with anything to say about water jumps/ramps to lake? Would like to practise my frontflip and add grab to my 360s, and try 540s, how are water jumps with these?
Heard people breaking or losing skis in the water, how high risk is in this, should i hogh my dins to max or strap/ have rope from bindings to ski boots etc? Anything else to take care about? Helmet and wetsuit ofc and sprinkles to water are all good. Ski boots get wet but they will recover good from this?

Ive been jumping on water jumps for two years and this is my experience.
1. Your boots will be alright just dry them out and they will be fine
2.If you have wider ski there is a bigger chance it will break i use K2 press and they are stiff and 88 under booth i think and they are alright but your tips will get destroyer i drilled holes in them an zip tied the tips and they work hella fine
3. set your dins around 10-20kg higher from what you ride normal for me is perfect
4. Use a rope and tie one end on the binding and the other on the boot this will prevent your skis sinking just be aware when your getting out of the water to hold your skis when they not connected with the rope.
Hope this helps
