ZenyattaKickWell here’s my experience, the Twall pros feel super sketchy for me, very thin ski not a lot of stability. Fun but they destroyed them selves so quick. I got like a season out of them, the chronics, I have nothing good to say. They were more durable, but that’s the only highlight. The shape of the ski is terrible and allows for very little pop, it’s just a flat ski tbh. No rocker and little camber. Honestly I would skip line, I’ve had my fair share of experience on them and wasn’t too impressed. Now just harping on something isn’t useful, so my suggestion is the Armada BDogs, super fun ski that feels similar to those but a lot of play. Some durability issues but not nearly as bad as line and the warranty program is pretty good too.

jumpman101Hey bud thanks. Also I have skied the Jeff series in park more than the filthy magnus and mango just for stability. The mango series is too soft for my liking. He may like them but Jeff series lines more with the chronic and how those used to ski like all mtn twin.
keagan.karstensIk it’s cliche to say but I’d really stay away from anything line makes. It sounds like armada has really figured things out durability wise maybe try an arv 94. 86 to 100 is a big underfoot change maybe ride something in the 90s before u try anything over 100. K2 is great they’re doing a new “omen” series that is replacing the poacher, those might be stiff as fuck though. The reckoners have been revamped with durability and if you are willing to make a large jump in underfoot width the reckoner 102 is a great option. And if u have a big budget check out on3p Jeffrey 100s. Whoever said they aren’t a park ski^ is an idiot. Most of on3p’s pros are on it. Really anything over a 90 underfoot is gonna have that extra pop you’re looking for. Lots of affordable options especially with last years skis(just don’t buy last years reckoners) and I’m sure u can find something that fits u and ur skiing.

jonah.callisterChronic 101 is the way to go. Plenty of rocker for butters and a solid camber profile for holding an edge. Low swing weight, super poppy and lively. Solid and durable through the full season. The improved topsheet, sidewall and edge construction this season was needed for sure. Able to go anywhere on the mtn. My favorite ski in a long while. Not sure why they get so much hate.
