dshilandWhere’s Dolan when we need him
JalmarKalmarWe don't need dolan for cores
J_Mendez2001I like tight pants, all black kits, as many taps/presses/butters as possible on mega kinked rails type of core
ajbskipaulownia is hands down the best riding core when the skis are brand new. although a couple of seasons in and they dont feel as great. light crisp poppy.
genuinely despise bamboo. i had a pair of liberty helixes and salomon shoguns and wrote off bamboo forever. the only way i could describe the feeling of bamboo is like riding a water logged skate board. idk my opinion. kind of a shame because i really want to try the on3p tour layup skis and its a pretty sustainable wood alternative. this should proably go into unpopular opinons thread

freeballerThat's the complete opposite of what most people feel with bamboo cores. Normally people feel a snappiness or pop to the ski with bamboo. I don't think the Shogun had bamboo in the core, but had a topsheet made of some percentage of bamboo but I don't think it contributed too much to the flex profile of the ski.
