ON3P softer flex for sizing up

Have already emailed ON3P but thought I would also post on NS.


About to buy a pair of the Jeffery 124s, but was just debating whether or not to get the softer flex option? I am 60kgs and 186.5cm tall and am going to get them in 191cm long but was unsure whether to stick with the standard flex or the softer flex due to my weight. I already own a pair of J108 with the 50/50 layup in a 186 and W102TI in a 184.

You should post ON3P’s reply when you get it, I’m curious since the J124 is brand new. I’d bet, though, that it’s softer than the rest of the Jeff lineup. And the Jeff 118 is already relatively soft (never skied them but they feel pretty fun). If the J124 is slightly softer than the J118 in stock flex, I’d go stock 191cm.

I talked with them yesterday about my custom 124. I ended up going with the 191 because the flex is softer than the 118. I'm 6'1 215-220. FWIW, the 186s are coming out heavier than my 194 Ghost Train.

I also went 191 but with the soft flex. I am a lot lighter than you though. What topsheet did you choose?

TBH I had such a hard time because it was the combo is defaults too but I loved it!


I think the soft flex at your weight will be money.

Had a change of heart on graphic and stoked with how they turned out. 2550g avg for the pair. Flex is definitely a touch softer than my 118s. Stoked!

Those are heavy! Make sure you mount a lightweight binding like the attack 14 or strive 14.

For sure! There is a Raw pair next to them as well. Did you do the 130 or 115 brakes on the GT?

Also that looks like the softest ass green tree run I’ve ever seen. You know why good skiers can’t photos in the middle of their runs? Because they’re actually skiing difficult terrain.
