micsinthetreesi emptied my bank account a couple times for 2 days of airbag at maximise and the sight really baffled me.Most people pulling up in g wagons and porsches. they drill the fuck out of the kids till they can’t take it anymore while the parents drink champagne on the patio. if the kids don’t do enough laps per minute they let em know. it’s either that or ontarian academies. you can absolutely have an awesome time there but the vibe is sometimes a bit awkward.

TdollasignRiding through the park, I often see a lot of talented young rippers doing as many spins as possible on jumps and rails, but it just doesn’t look that steezy in my opinion. It’s very similar to going to the skatepark for a chill skate sesh, but then you get there and there’s some scooter kids doing some crazy double backflip 1080 type shi on the quarterpipe. It’s impressive but it’s not cool. I would much rather watch someone do a fat laid out cork 3 than a dub cork 14. I know Andy Parry gets a lot of hate for his bag but I think his rail tricks are cooler than someone who does switch 2 on pretz 4 out type variations. I think as a community, we should strive to push people to do more stylish, creative tricks with more speed, Pete Koukov is a good example of what I want to see more of. I just think that a lot of skiers take a very mathematical approach to skiing and it’s gotten very stale and boring at this point.

KilaTsunamiI wish my parents were this cool. It was always "skiing is supposed to be fun" and never "Go lap the airbag all fucking day until you can triple you little shit"
micsinthetreesi know it sound good like that but not every kid is made for that. half of them were hating their time on the airbag. i meant that the vibe was very different from my home resort where people got hyped on skiing and sending tricks, it was more of a comp kid factory yk
KilaTsunamiYea no I’m just saying that everything was so laid back for me as a kid that I’m older and almost wishing I had went to the comp factory 😂
JalmarKalmarIf you like Andy you will also like @Raf.Diaz.
I could watch wizard tricks for days straight.
