JalmarKalmarIf you like Andy you will also like @Raf.Diaz.
I could watch wizard tricks for days straight.
steez_apprenticesay what you want about spins but a super fed is one of the sickest tricks especially on kinked features.
hi_vis360Pretty cold take but IMO spin on spin off is cool when it’s 450 and below, the really wack shit is the excessive switch ups especially if it’s on a flat tube and you aren’t skiing fast
Raf.Diaz.Awn Thank you Jamal
EvancantspinWhen is the slvsh game dropping between you and Reagan
SkiEnthusiast420Guy is so bad at skiing that he thinks a 270 on/off is a “big spin” 😂

Sully_Lynncool thread, anyways here is a lifted minivan

fabbeits your new name bestowed upon you by raf. We expect your username to be changed within the hour
JalmarKalmarmhmmm..
TdollasignRiding through the park, I often see a lot of talented young rippers doing as many spins as possible on jumps and rails, but it just doesn’t look that steezy in my opinion. It’s very similar to going to the skatepark for a chill skate sesh, but then you get there and there’s some scooter kids doing some crazy double backflip 1080 type shi on the quarterpipe. It’s impressive but it’s not cool. I would much rather watch someone do a fat laid out cork 3 than a dub cork 14. I know Andy Parry gets a lot of hate for his bag but I think his rail tricks are cooler than someone who does switch 2 on pretz 4 out type variations. I think as a community, we should strive to push people to do more stylish, creative tricks with more speed, Pete Koukov is a good example of what I want to see more of. I just think that a lot of skiers take a very mathematical approach to skiing and it’s gotten very stale and boring at this point.
bennwithtwonsNot gonna lie, whenever I hear people say stuff like this, it just sounds like envy. Any amount of spinning can be cool if done with style.

TdollasignMaybe within your little circle jerks but there are still plenty of people who take this approach to skiing, even outside of the comp scene
tyauerThis is what happens when ur on the east coast and the only interesting thing on the mountain is the park so you start getting brainwashed into thinking its spin to win. 90% of dope east coast mfs are urban skiers
Farmville420This is the most inacurate thing I've ever read, most good street skiers are comp kids who either didn't make it or didn't like it. Literally every good skier and style god has a foundation of chucking spins and stuff, your favorite "style skier" can probably dub 10 they just choose not to.

deackeep sucking your own dick man. Im sure you claim that you are “swerve” and straight slide everything because you are to much of a pussy to throw anything😂
TdollasignI’m definitely a pussy but I don’t claim to be swerve or good at park skiing, I’m pretty shit tbh, but those facts don’t influence my opinions. Take a break from increasing your karma on this dying app and get yourself some puss for once u virgin

tyauerMf musta not read the post or smthin. I’m talking abt the people or are “doing as many spins as possible” not just anybody who can do corks or 270’s on
micsinthetreeswhen i realized this it made me a little bit sad idk exactly why. maybe it’s because i thought street skiers were like middle class people ( like most of us) just throwing down but in reality behind 90% of good skiers it’s just the same path of ski academy and ridiculously wealthy families. Not tryna be a hater, they are still the best yknow:)
Farmville420comp background doesnt mean you're a trust fund kid it just means you competed. Idk about now but comps used to be pretty reasonable (like $25-50 per comp) when I was growing up and there were hella non-academy kids competing and throwing down. Academies also give scholarships sometimes when a kid can't afford it (my friend Ian got a full ride to MSA). Competing when your young and being forced to step outside your comfort zone and getting reps in doing scary tricks is what makes you a good skier, I think more young kids should try competing even if they suck because its super beneficial IMO
hi_vis360This is why rail jams are dope. They encourage you to push your limits, and the last one I went to was 12 bucks, no lift ticket required. All ages and no need to be in some club. Plus you get to hit a park setup that hasn’t been thrashed by the public, that’s another huge advantage of skiing in comps
