ThegenericskierThe ti 83 plus and ti 84 are still quite present in public schools though personally I’ll take an hp or Casio calculator any day of the week

Unfortunately TI has a monopoly on school calculators in the US which is why there has been virtually no changes to the TI83,84,84+ since their release in the 90s- early 2000s because of schools using their calculators exclusively they have no reason to innovate
