ryan.steckleyYou basically just described all East Coast rail jams.
snowfinderYou know what the East Coast needs? A big comp, one that fits within the East Coat hard core vibes. Something with street style features and a ton of $ up for grabs. Invite the underdogs of the ski world that mostly focus on edits and not comps. The skiers out there pushing it and making nothing in return. It would be a way to give back to that side of skiing while shining a light on the athletes and their abilities. It could be held at a resort or a big city park, this is something that is needed in the ski world imo.
melkonLove the idea. Problem is big money. Big names = big money. Underdogs = small money

PeteMahnExcept none of those exist anymore and same with all Hype east coast comps. Rails to Riches Gone, North Face Park and Pipe open, Dumont cup, Salmon Jib academy, Gatorade Free Flow tour, Stratton Young gun open, Last Chance on Sundance at Nashoba, Carinthia Open, Loon Hike and Huck.
There's more I'm forgetting but the fact is all these are gone and the local comp scene has disappeared. There is a correlation between this and the first Olympics when FIS took over the comp scene. If your a local mountain and FIS runs the comp, then every kid trying to get USSA, and or USASA points will show up, so its guaranteed money for all parties.
snowfinderThose are all small with small prize $. Need a big one with big features and big $$.

halllGotta give @-Dan some credit. You pretty much described down rails and double kinks.
bootspaceisn’t this just steel city showdown? those features are massive, but it is a lot of already-pro riders
