Rossignol Barbara Lewis skis, need help identifying

A friend of mine came across a bunch of skis. This particular pair (on the map) has the name, "Barbara Lewis" below the Rossignol. We didn't know if that meant these might have been hers, if she had a line and this was her style, etc. Any help is appreciated as we are totally in the dark with ski equipment.

Apparently a super popular racing ski from the 70s. Guessing some chick named Barbara owned them. Quick google search didn't bring up much so idk if she was some OG from back in the day or just someone who wrote their name on them.

Cool! Can you tell me more about some of these other skis? I tried googling as well but, I find a bunch of random opinion posts from resellers. Not from anyone who's niche.

those belonged to a pro skier for sure. Back in the day 'Barbara' basically meant elite skier and in France it was actually illegal to go by Barbara if you were not pro

Cool! So, was Barbara both a woman's name and a title in skiing? I'm confused because there was the professional Barbara Lewis but, I don't know how these ended up in Alabama if they are hers.

Im going to guess that getting your name on your skis was an option back in the day. Maybe because alot of people wore the same skis
