Rock_InhabitantI’ve heard from a lot of places that the blue pvc is better for a summer setup. Should I try to get a 10 foot charlotte tube from Lowe’s or is regular pvc fine? Also looking for anyone with some leftover msnow.

Farmville420You want C900 PVC (the blue one probably mentioned above). It's rated for a shit ton pressure and used around Colorado for water mains. During construction, it's required that lengths of 20' must be used (this varies from town to town but generally is around 20'). So if you have a run of pipe that is 90', you will need to purchase 5 runs of 20' and you will have 10' of pipe left over. Standard for mains on an apartment building is anywhere from 8" to 16" diameter. Go to any construction site, knock on the door of the temporary office near the site between normal business hours and ask if you could take their extra PVC. Almost 90% of the time they will be insanely stoked that you're willing to dispose of their waste for free, I have had people say no but only once, and it was because they already had another project that they were planning to use the pipe for.

NewsheepersI'm 0/2 on asking but I asked dumbass park/rec people and they just said they were gonna throw it away even when I offered to take it. So I'm gonna just steal that shit like what. Also if you build it try and have a little downslope for the rail otherwise you lose speed quick.

Biggie_TWhat is the fake snow you use called? Been wondering since my parents are finally letting me build one. The cost is what has driven me away from a lot of stuff though.

1. do you need to worry about edge cracks when sliding pvc?
2. Is catching an edge more common on pvc?
3. Is the friction on pvc much more than an actual rail in the park, like would it be by far the worst if it were to be in a park?
