Essence of Skiing

what’s the essence of skiing? Is it the adrenaline? The fun w friends? What is the most core part of skiing? Or is it just how you express yourself when strapped into ur twigs?

There’s no other sport like skiing, all of them have a bunch of rules and requires to be somewhat competetive to win and I hate that.

The beauty of skiing is that you can make it whatever you want it to be. If you enjoy racing and going as fast as possible go for it, if you’re a park skier that just wanna do rails and butters, why not. You can ski just like you want and nobody can tell you what to do. It’s the freedom, and the creativity that you get out of it that gets me going.

To me it’s all about fun and making memories. I have just as much fun cruising around the mountain with friends and family than I do when I send it in the park.

I wanna enjoy this sport until I’m an actual grandpa like hotdog hanz and just enjoy life to the fullest, that’s my retirement goal.
