Ya, so I was reading in the lifty thread there about the idea of a bunch of people on here who are going to whistler this winter but need accomodations to get a big house together, like 6 - 7 bedroom. I think that is the sickest idea, I am so in on that if we can get a bunch of people together on this. I cant go staff housing cause I'm no working there and it's a real pain to find a place once it gets close to the season. So ya, If your looking for a place in whistler this coming winter and you think this is a good idea, reply back, maybe we can get a bunch of people together, that would be sweet, anyway, tell me what ya think.

if u need a roommate i may be game.
shine so bright when i walk by, ya gotta squint like da muthafukin son in ya eye.
as a kid i used to like to like riding in the car with my head out the window. i would do it all the time. until one day a car was coming. my head hit a dogs head, and my head knocked the dogs head off. now i dont lean out the window anymore.

that's a great idea and all... we're planning the same thing, just wiht a smaller house, and i advise that you meet hte ppl first before you commit to living with them for a year. At least with staff housing you don't sign a lease, when moving into a house with ppl you meet from on-line that's taking a BIG risk... they may be chill people and all but they could be the nastiest ppl to live with. Just a word of advise. Also it's really really really hard to find a landlord that will want to rent out a 6 - 7 bedroom house to a bunch of young ppl. Really tough. If you don't know many ppl or any ppl in whistler i suggest moving into staff for the winter. It's really really ghetto but it's cheap and you meet TONS of ppl that will want to move into a new house in the spring or summer and stay for the next seasonl... that is all for now

yo derek... you can stay at staff without actually workin' for intrawest... at least for the summer, might be a different situation in the winter.
but yea, i'll be around in the winter so i might be in for a place... still summer though so we'll see.

Ya, if this doesn't work I really only need to find a place Dec. Jan. and Feb. cause I'm coming back to Ontario for March and then when I go back for April till July I can go with staff housing. But ya, I'm thinking that coming out Dec. 1st and trying to find a place for Dec. Jan and Feb is going to be really hard. I've heard that if you come out later than Nov it's really hard to get anything.

I am so down! Fun college girl from Cali. taking a year off to work and ski. I was thinking of moving up there in late Sept. to get all set before the winter. When are you planing on moving up there?

I'm getting to whistler Dec. 1st, which is really pretty late to be going out for the winter, but I have to make as much money as possible here in Ontario before I go out.

if u want a job there, you need to be there by atleast late october, so many ppl move up there for just the winter and its next to impossible to find a decent job/place to stay that late

thats not strictly true, i thought that you couldnt get a job after december but alot of the mountain staff have been weeded out by then, the fuckers that dont get out of bed, people that get kicked out of staff housing and cant stay, there's still job, theyre just harder to come by.

Ya, but I'm not working out there, what fun is that? I'm working like crazy until Dec. 1st and then heading out there so I dont have to work out there, I'm working over 50 hours a week right now at a good hourly rate too, with no deductions whatsoever, no tax, no nothing just straight pay, I can get that in whistler. What I think I am going to do is try to find a one year lease starting Oct. 1st or Nov. 1st and just pay for the 2 months I'm not there just so I'm guarenteed a place to live, If I'm lucky I'll find a 8 month lease starting Nov. 1st.
