treebeardSorry for opening the can homies, thanks for keeping it mostly civil
GANDALFIm 35 and am looking to start another band but everyone has CHILDREN.
treebeardSorry Dug it's my fault
VTshredder69So your wife's parents are ILLEGAL immigrants? Hold on let me get your name and address real quick so i can contact the US deportation office.
Joking. They are not deporting legal immigrants bro. And even if they are Illegal immigrants republicans love indians since they are all the doctors. I highly doubt they'll attempt to deport people who were born here even under illegally immigrated parents. No matter the country
Idk about abortion much but didn't a bunch of states vote to allow it this past election?
And i just wanted to edit this and say i'm being facetious with this post before i get yelled at. Genuinely curious if her parents are illegal or not since i think a large majority of people here illegally are from South and Latin America

ArabianLife is good. Weirdly i'm not having a stressful one about the election. I had all my contingency plans laid out in January and it was really nice to just be like "ah, we're on the nightmare timeline. execute the nightmare scenario prep work!" I don't know if I'm gonna get screwed in other ways, but I'm definitely covered completely for the stuff I can control. Were people just like, expecting Kamala to win or something without preparing for the worst? That's nuts to me.
cool270outGo fuck yourself
iH8powI could post this in the rant thread, but since we have this 30+ thread it might be more relevant here. So this spring some might remember I broke my pelvis on a jump. When my spouse finally realized I wasn’t kidding and had to go to the hospital, she told me I was an idiot still skiing park at 38, all the other doctors also will think I’m an idiot doing it at this age and I should quit. But my partner has been working out hard, 1 hour/day for past couple years and guess who now needs rotator cuff surgery from overuse and needs 4-6 weeks off work, not to mention all the medical costs already racked up long before she even has the surgery… it was hard to keep biting my tongue and being fully supportive of her in this but when we got into it according to her weightlifting is a healthy lifestyle and she shouldn’t stop, skiing park isn’t and I should still quit. Why are doctors just such pussies all the time. I know I have a complex being one of the few non-doctors in my family but them being an absolute wet rag I have to say is a pretty accurate depiction of most of the doctors and ER nurses I know. They hate fun so bad
im still doing park this year

VTshredder69It's getting harder and harder next day to wake up and get to work after a heavy lift session. Like I'm snoozing for 30 mins. Eating well, taking amino acids and vitamins.
I think i'm just getting old. Now i know what adults are talking about
partyandBSwhats your nightly alcohol consumption like?? if you’re on the bottle too much it will impact your recovery pretty significantly

nmwninjartHow much sleep are you getting?
Might have to get to bed earlier, sounds like you just need more recovery time and move one of those heavy lifting sessions to the weekend.
I find that even just an extra half hour of sleep is glorious.
VTshredder69Sleep is definitely one of the most important things. I have to keep it consistent on the weekend. Been getting 7 hours during the week which seems adequate. Weekends might be the issue!
BradFiAusNzCoCaDo you have anything to track your sleep like an Oura ring, Apple Watch, etc?
It was eye opening for me when I tracked my sleep. I slept a lot less than I thought and my HRV was way lower than I expected. “I’ll get 7 hours if I go to sleep now”
*Apple Watch shows only 4 hours of good sleep*
I don’t track my sleep anymore. Hate having a watch at night and it almost became a chore in itself after awhile
VTshredder69Yea that's the thing. I almost always wake up in the middle of the night and have to piss after lifting. Gotta be because of excess water intake while i'm sweating my ass off. Once i get up my never ending mind starts thinking about shit so i certainly lose 30-45 mins right there.
I definitely know i don't get a full 7 hours.
I don't have an apple watch but what apps on the iphone are their to track sleep and are they reliable?
