I’m very interested in shooting some 4:3. My GH5 shoots 4K 60p 4:3 and it looks beautiful. My hxr-100 has a 4:3 guide I can turn on. My question is how should I setup my sequence in premiere? Should I set it as 1440 by 1080 which is the HD 4:3 and scale down the gh5 4K footage? This might be dumb j trying figure out 4:3. Any advice or insights regarding 4:3 are much appreciated.
just record in 4k 60, then edit in 1440 by 1080, then compile 2880 by 2160, that's how i feel is the best way to do it, plus you get a couple spare pixels on the side for reframing if necessary.
