beepskiHow do I train on tramp, I can do most of the basic flip(back front side with spins on front and back). Where do I go from there, like I've never done tramp for the purpose of actually skiing. How do I switch over to doing it for skiing. Also how the hell do you cork I've been trying to learn for so long.
Christian_BaleTo elaborate what bernah said:
1. first progression- 45 to backdrop. You want your feet coming up in front of you at about a 45 degree angle. That’s important so that you don’t end up doing a mork. Ie turning you shoulders early and doing a weird misty type flip.
2. Do first progression but then wrap a 3 to your back. Having your arms outstretched initially (ie airplane) and then bringing them in to help generate spin.
3. same as 2nd progression but take it to your feet.
hope this helps. I’m pretty trash at corks on tramp but I think this is more or less the way that coaches teach it
beepskiStraight to back or over head to back?
