Im a pretty shit park skiier, very consistent on just sliding rails, 3s, frontflips and backflips , can slide unnatty on boxes and tubes as well as sw/ on - have learned these in the last couple months as im trying to take a more practical 'training approach' to improving. I currently only get to ride park for max 3 hours a week as im in the UK so can only ski in indoor snowdomes. BUT.. im going to NZ over summer and want to work park maintenance, so will try to get at least 60 full park days over the course of the season.
The question is how much improvement is possible over that span of time? To medal in UK comps i probably need consistent FS/BS, 2s on and off, maybe 4s on and off for rails. cork 7s, sw/ backflips, misty 5s as well as some more extreme stuff to pull out in finals.
people who have worked park maintenance before; how much did you improve over the course of a season, or how much have you seen people improve - is my goal attainable?
