A little context - been skiing since I was like 3, always found it hard to chuck my meat. Over the last 2 ish years smoked more flower than I should have, but it made it so much easier to send on skis, felt like I could get out of my head/self-doubts much easier. I'm now almost 30 days clean, which is sweet, but now having a really hard time going as big as I used to. Anyone else ever notice this or have any advice?
Actually quite the opposite. I'm definitely a better skier sober/am less focused high. If I smoked prior to the first chair, I'd spend the first couple hours skiing uncomfortably conservative and probably less aware of my surroundings. Once I sobered up to a 3/10 of less, I was a maniac (definitely that post weed energy). Weed ruins my self confidence so I guess if the reverse is true, that could be difficult to overcome.
I loved smoking blunts and fags while skiing. Cigs really helped with focus and weed made skiing so much more organic. It was a time of rapid progression, but plateaued after a couple years.
Weed makes me scared and darts take my breath away. Kind of a double edge sword.
I quit tobacco a couple years ago and dont smoke while skiing anymore. All of sudden, I get 4 season of increadible progression.
Id say just give it more time. It takes longer than 30 days to recover from smoking tree everyday. I bet in 3 months youll feel like yourself again and youll probably be a better skier. This is all from personal experience too.

You’re probably lying to yourself on some level about how much it helps. The first 5 or so laps after zaza are the best I’ll ski all day but I’m total dog shit after that cause I’m tired from the combination of drugs and physical activity. The few days I got to got to go skiing this year I substituted caffeine for weed and you know what I found out? You don’t need to smoke to loosen up. You lack focus not potential.
And as someone already said, the bud is the flower part, but only hipsters say "flower". 0% of the population in the history of ever refers to tobacco as flower, especially since you're smoking the leaves. Weed on the other hand, you smoke mainly the flower component, with some sugar leaves possibly. When cannabis flowers get pollinated by the male plant, it creates a baby (seed). 4th grade science you failed.

Some people have more anxiety than others and drugs and alcohol can remove those intuitions. I ski a lot more sendier after a beer or a shooter but was only once. Was exciting to say the least but having previously had serious adhd and medicated for years, i developed a lot of anxiety in s lot of situations and with a beer or two, im a much different person and ferl better but i wish there was a less harmful solution to my problems.
