Just kidding, but switched from board to skis after 30 years and lookiing to take the next step into trees and more off piste as my sking improves. Currently on a rustler 9 172. 5’9” 190, more directional but not looking for speed prefer fun, nimble while not losing my teeth in the chop. Good float would be great , the ski for all mountain to compliment the skinner rustler. 50’s so unlikely in the park. Appreciate the insights.
Kind of a basic answer but a maybe an atomic bentchetler 100 would fit the bill for a wider more playful, floaty ski tree ski. Salomon Qst 98 could also be good, more floaty and forgiving than the rustler 9 i think.
101 is a fun ski. Pivots really easy and has a decent back bone. Does better in firm than its larger brothers. People still use them in the park too. If you’re getting into anything deep the 101 can be a blast. I have the 108 and 118. The 101 never interested me since I have a deathwish 104.
