Replying to Do it all ski that I can still tour on?
I've recently moved away from the mountains, which means I'll aways need to travel by plane or overnight train to go ski now. This year I travelled with 2 pairs, but it gets too heavy when I include my wife's pair too and our boots/poles/avy gear. Wondering whether it would be possible to reduce my quiver down to 1 do it all ski
I ski all over the mountain, enjoy afternoons lapping the park, but also 3-4 hour tours up for some untouched powder. I already have a wide touring set up that I love, 96mm park ski and a 125mm powder ski.
I won't be spinning more than 360 so swing weight isn't too much of an issue. I will be hitting rails though. Leaning towards a twin tip so I can still ski jumps switch, and ideally pretty stiff so it doesn't fold in on itself in chopped up conditions. I'll be mounting a set of Pivot 15s W/ cast to it.
I'm based in Europe which rules out a few skis unfortunately. The Momentum Wildcat tour 108 sounds perfect but difficult/expensive to ship to Europe.
So far I've been looking into:
Faction Mana 3.0
K2 Mindbender 108Ti
Salomon QST Blank
Open to all recommendations though
Thanks
