Dahu Boots - Up to the task?

I don’t get the purpose of these. Couldn’t you just get some super light touring boot that would be just as comfortable but be much better for skiing?

Now I’m getting ads for Dahu boots thanks a lot dude!!

There's no way those are worth $900 compared to getting a properly fitted actual boot. Even top end regular boots aren't that expensive.

If I purchased them it wouldn’t be until spring/summer when I could hopefully get a discount. My current boots were properly fitted when I got them probably 6 or 7 years ago now. They feel great while I’m skiing but walking around in them is the source of the problem, even if I loosen them up. If I ski more than 2 days in a row my shins and toes get super bruised up.

The boots don't fit you anymore. I've gone through a bunch of time, boots, fitters over a few years and am finally in a boot I'm happy with for now and don't have blackened toe nails or shin bang bruises. Find the best fitter in your area and go get in some new boots! 6-7 years is a long time also, have you ever replaced the liners? How many days a year are you skiing typically?

OP... they ski incredibly well, as good as a normal 3 piece like roxa or full tilt... or a little better, the tongue flex is really nice. they fit amazing out of the box. I've skied all the models, they're great.

the 130 flex is equal to any normal 130 flex.

It should tell you everything you need to know when the manufacture puts 100% Fit Guarantee on the page but when you read the returns they state no returns whatsoever if you even use the boots on one run and they are terrible.

They don’t stand behind their product and that tells you everything about the boots and the company.

To me these boots have exactly the problems you would expect. Lack of control of the skis being the worst part. I am an advanced skier who has being skiing every year since a child and I ski as many days as possible a season. That being said these had to be the most out of control boots I have ever felt. They felt heavy, my ankles felt like they were getting pushed around all over the place.

They moved in points that no regular ski boot I have tried on before would. They actually felt unsafe to me and I skipped any additional hard runs and came down blues to get them off my feet.

I walked back into the resort and grabbed my Tecnicas. I would 1000% stay away from the Dahu brand of boots and if you are going to try them buy them from a retailer who will return them when you realize you made a mistake and bought the worst boots ever.

I don't agree with this is anyway. I've skied pretty much every ski boot and certainly every 3 piece shell. I would even say the dahu has more control than the new dalbello cabrio. Extremely comfortable boot too. You sound butthurt because you bought them 60% off price and the consequence was no returns because of the discount.
