I’ve resisted the temptation to buy Apex boots for years because they lack the stiffness/responsiveness required for any skier above a beginner/intermediate skill level.
I recently saw these Dahu boots in a shop and they looked really cool, and the salesman (key word there) said that they were much more capable than the Apex Boots and the design of the outer shell in general looks a lot more solid. https://skidahu.com/collections/mens/products/mens-ecorce-01-black-camo?variant=40678192447558
I know that nothing like this will be 1:1 with a traditional performance boot, but if these are even 75% as good, I am tempted.
My current dalbello panterra’s feel fine while I’m skiing, but the second I have to walk more than 30ft in them I develop pressure points and then it gets worse from there, especially since I mostly ride with snowboarders who are free to leave their boots on during apres activities.
Anyone have experience with Dahu boots?
